Urgent Tree Removal for Edward Langston’s Property After Storm Damage in Portland, Louisville

Project Overview

Edward Langston woke up to a nightmare after last week’s storm hit Portland. A massive oak tree had split down the middle, with half of it crashing across his driveway and the other half hanging dangerously over his roof. The fallen section blocked his car completely, and he couldn’t even get to work.

Edward felt overwhelmed looking at the damage. The hanging portion swayed with every breeze, making creaking sounds that worried him all night. His neighbor mentioned seeing cracks in the remaining trunk, which made everything worse. He needed someone who could handle this mess quickly and safely.

Our team at Tino’s Tree Service got Edward’s call early that morning. We could hear the stress in his voice as he explained the situation. The Portland neighborhood had several properties with similar storm damage, but Edward’s case needed immediate attention because of the unstable tree hanging over his house.

We scheduled an emergency visit that same day. Our crew arrived prepared for a complex removal job that required careful planning to protect his home and clear his driveway safely.

Process We Followed to Solve the Problems

Emergency Response and Quick Assessment

Edward called us right after the storm, and we treated his situation as a priority. We scheduled an emergency visit within hours and arrived with our full crew and equipment ready to work.

Detailed Safety Evaluation

Our experienced team examined the split oak tree carefully. We checked the hanging portion, measured the lean angle, and identified which parts posed the biggest threat to Edward’s roof and property.

Strategic Removal Plan

We explained our approach to Edward step by step. The plan involved securing the hanging section first, then carefully dismantling both halves without causing more damage to his home or driveway.

Safe Work Zone Setup

Our crew established a protected work area around Edward’s property. We moved his car to safety, covered nearby plants, and set up barriers to keep the area clear during removal.

Careful Tree Dismantling

We used rigging techniques to control each section as we cut it down. The hanging portion came down first in small pieces, followed by the fallen trunk that blocked the driveway.

Complete Stump Removal

After clearing the main tree, we ground the stump down below ground level. This prevented future root problems and gave Edward a clean slate for replanting or lawn repair.

Full Site Cleanup

We hauled away every piece of debris, from large trunk sections to small twigs. Edward’s property was left clean and ready for normal use.

Follow-Up Inspection

Our team walked the property with Edward to check for any remaining hazards and gave him advice about his other trees after storm damage.

The Final Results

Edward’s driveway was completely clear and his roof was safe from the hanging tree threat. The dangerous oak was gone, and his property looked clean and well-maintained again.

He could finally park his car at home and sleep peacefully without worrying about creaking branches overhead. Edward was relieved and grateful for our quick response during his stressful situation.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My mom's tree split in half during a recent storm. Tino's was working nearby, and we asked for an estimate. The crew showed up the same day and went to work. The crew worked hard to get tree down and then cleaned up. Fair price. Excellent experience. Highly recommend Tino's Tree Service.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had an emergency with part of our tree falling on the house. He came out on a Sunday and gave us an estimate. Tuesday they showed up bright and early and by 10:30 am the entire tree was gone. They were so awesome! I would highly recommend using them! Even left me some mementos upon request.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tinos Tree service provided excellent response time to the recent storm damage. Came on a Sunday evening to remove limbs that were on a vehicle and cleared a path to the front door. They came promptly the next morning to remove the tree and grind the stump. Staff were courteous and answered all my questions during a difficult time. They are very reasonably priced and overall customer service was excellent!!
